When you join the above society, we ask you to fill in a membership form, giving your personal contact information (name, address, telephone number  and e-mail address).  This is the only information that is recorded in our files.  Your Committee is the data controller and processor of this information.
We use this information to:
1. record membership and eligibility to vote at the AGM
2. send out documents about your membership and the AGM
3. send out details of the programme and any changes to the programme
4. To forward material which we think you might find interesting  e.g. the  newsletter  produced by the Lancashire Local History Federation.   (email only)
This information is not (and never will be) shared with or sold to any other person or organisation. We will retain your personal information as long as you are a member and for 2 years thereafter  and will keep it safe.
Members have the right  to withdraw contact permission at any time by writing to the Society; they may also review their details, request that they be updated or ask for complete deletion of all their personal details.
They have the right to complain to the Information  Commissioner’s Office (www.ico.org.uk)

Visitors and Guests are welcome to come along to our meetings, usually held on the 1st and/or 3rd Thursdays of the month from September to June in the Centenary Room at St Paul's Church,

Starting at 7:30pm. £2.50 for non-members includes light refreshments.
